He is born in Sinalunga () in 1964. Since  1986 he followed during two years an acting  course. In  1988 started in theatre with "Acqua cheta " directed by Massimo Masini. Endured after he begins to work like cabaret entertainer near issuing television premises, Teletruria, Teleidea, Channel 3 in order then to participate to many transmissions in Fininvest/Mediaset networks.

In 1990 he comes noticed from Matteo Spinola and Enrico Lucherini who wanted him in their funny transmission  " who was this, who was that one" on Telemontecarlo and on successive year, participated to the first edition of " Do you know the last funnystory?  " on Channel  5, dedicated to the Tuscany, like winner of the previous headed ones.

Arena enters in the world of the cinema with a small role in the film of Lello: "Clear of Moon" (1988), to which ago followed the participation to two fiction of succeeding Channel 5 of large: "I blackmail 2" (1991), of Vittorio de Sisti, and "Public square of Spain" (1992), of Florestano Vancini. Two years ago it has worked beside Debora Caprioglio in the film of Francesca Archibugi "With the eyes sluices" (1995). With Stefano Reali emergent director in last fiction of Mediaset "last" (1998) with Raoul Bova in wave on Channel 5. And still with Carl Vanzina in "the sky in one room" (1999). Always with Vanzina last fiction "Anni 60" (1999).

In the meantime its activity of continuous umorista like conductor of wireless transmissions for Radio blue Wave (Arezzo) and Radio Effe (Florence). It returns to the theatre between the end of 1995 and beginning 1996 interpreting, beside Novello Novels, the only action written and directed from Alexander Welcomes, " mythical the eleven".

After to have participated to spot a television "Blue Brio Rocchetta" (1997) it is still like one of the protagonists in spot television "Nescafè" (1998). To flank of Pippo Baudo for spot of the paper "Queen" (1998). And still for the "Gocciole Pavians" in the spot of 1999, "Infostrada" (1999), for the "Holland Caterpillar" (2000).

Currently spirit and leads cabaret shows.
