Anna Rimoldi is from Milan, a woman full of life, dedicated to sociological
studies, a tireless traveller and always looking for new experiences.
After a diploma in social work, she decided to get involved in voluntary
work and set about dedicating herself to doing anything she could to
improve the living condition of women and family.
From 1962 - 68 she was to be found in Rwanda; from 68 - 74 in Burundi
as an
expert for UNESCO. 1974 found her in Mali involved in a literacy project.
In 1978 she moved to Afghanistan. From 1980 to 84 she was in Niger and
then
in Tunisie until 88.
Anna Rimoldi spent 26 years of her life helping people less fortunate
.
Finally she returned to Belgium and, with the mind full of images and
memories, she realised that the time come to devote herself to painting.
Anna is already a proven artist, using refined techniques, living her
new
life through her art. She needed a different light, a calmer atmosphere,
new ideas, more colour. For this reason she came to live in Tuscany, in
Sinalunga.
